Monthly law and order meeting was held in Dhamairhat. The meeting was held at 10 am on August 25 in the Upazila Parishad meeting room and was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer (Acting) Jasmine Akhter.
Apart from law and order, issues such as drug control, child marriage, terrorism, sabotage, smuggling control, etc. were discussed. UNO Jasmine Akhter requested the locals to play their role in preventing drug dealers and drug users and increasing awareness about the harmful effects of drugs.
She also called on the Upazila Executive Officer, Police Station Officer-in-Charge, UP Chairman and to call 999 to assist the law and order forces. The meeting was attended by Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Toufiq Al Zubayer, Upazila Food Controller Mamun Or Rashid, Dr. Mizanur Rahman, OC Imam Zafar, Kalupara BGB Company Commander Subedar Ayub Ali, UP Chairman ATM Badiul Alam, Ismail Hoson Mostaq, Mosaddek Hossain, Mahfuzul Alam Lucky, and others.
