Earthquakes were felt in various parts of the country, including Chittagong.
Farzana Sultana, assistant meteorologist at the Earthquake Observation Center of the Meteorological Department, said that a 5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 10:51 pm on Wednesday.
The US Geological Survey (USGSO) also recorded a 5.1 magnitude earthquake. The epicenter of the earthquake was 129 kilometers deep.
