“In implementation of the election manifesto of the present government, the priority program announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister regarding the 10 special benefits given in favor of Krishak Card and waiver of agricultural loans” in Jamalpur Sarishabari
On Tuesday (May 5) at noon in the upazila parishad auditorium, Jamalpur district information office and Sarishabari upazila administration organized a farmers rally.
In the speech of the chief guest on the occasion, local member of parliament Faridul Kabir Talukdar Shamim MP said that the country will save if the farmer lives. The current government is implementing various practical programs to improve the quality of life of farmers. The government is working relentlessly to reduce the production cost of farmers, provide agricultural loans on easy terms and ensure the use of modern technology in the agricultural sector.
He further said that real farmers are being brought under the government benefits through Krishak card. The government will always maintain the continuity of sincere and agri-friendly policies to protect the interests of the farmers.
President of Sarishabari Municipal BNP and former Mayor Faizul Kabir Talukdar Shaheen, Upazila Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Liza Risil, Upazila BNP President Alhaj Azim Uddin Ahmed and Upazila Krishak Dal Convener Abdul Majid, Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Anup Singh spoke as special guests in the meeting presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Miss Afroza Afsana.
