Free Medical Camp of Kaliakor Palli Mangal Programme

A day-long free medical camp was organized for the poor, helpless and underprivileged people under the initiative of Palli Mangal Program (PMK) private development organization in Kaliakore upazila of Gazipur. Free medical care, medicines, spectacles and eye drops were distributed in the camp organized on Tuesday morning at the premises of the Palli Mangal branch office in Sriphaltali area of ​​Kaliakoi.

In this health care camp held throughout the day, doctors specializing in eye, medicine, gynaecology, skin and sex, pediatrics, surgery and ophthalmology provided free medical services to around five hundred poor and helpless patients. A picture of relief and satisfaction can be seen among the beneficiaries due to the sincere service of the doctors.

Palli Mangal Program (PMK) assistant program manager Md. Sohail Rana, branch manager of Kaliakair branch Md. Abul Bashar and accountant Md. Mujibur Rahman, Md. Asadul Islam upazila coordinator accountant were present at this time.

Since its inception on November 27, 1987, the Palli Mangal Program has been implementing various developmental programs as well as health care programs. Under this, maternal and child health awareness, eye treatment, free health care and essential medicines are being provided to expectant mothers.

This kind of humanitarian initiative has garnered great appreciation among the local people and the awareness community has termed this organization of Palli Mangal program as a timely initiative to provide health care to the needy people.
