Father and son arrested with Yaba in Narail

The Sadar Police Outpost arrested Shariful Islam (55) and his son Bappi Sahariar (35), two accused in 11 drug cases including Yaba, from the Bhadulidanga area of ​​Narail Sadar Upazila at midnight. Ujjwal Roy, District Correspondent from Narail, said that Narail Sadar Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Ajay Kumar Kundu confirmed the matter on Saturday (May 23) afternoon.

Earlier, the police arrested him from the Bhadulidanga area of ​​Sadar Upazila at midnight on Friday (May 22).

Police said that the Sadar Police Outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Gopal Chandra Sarkar and the associated force stopped Shariful Islam and his elder son Bappi Sahariar from in front of a nursery next to the Jessore-Narail highway in Bhadulidanga village of Sadar Upazila at midnight on Friday and searched them.

At that time, the police recovered 200 pills from the pocket of the pants worn by Shariful Islam and 100 pills from the pocket of the Punjabi worn by his elder son Bappi Sahariar, along with a total of 300 pills of Yaba tablets and arrested them. There are 3 drug cases against the arrested Shariful Islam and 8 against his son Bappi Sahariar.

Inspector (Investigation) of Narail Sadar Police Station Ajay Kumar Kundu said that there are 8 drug cases against the arrested Shariful Islam and 3 against his son Bappi Sahariar. A case has been filed against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act and they have been sent to court.
