The National Citizens Party (NCP) Narail district branch convening committee (partial) has been formed. In this 11-member committee, agriculturist Munshi Zahidul Islam has been made the convener and engineer Mahmuda Sultana Rimi has been made the member secretary. Ujjwal Roy, Narail district representative, said that this committee, jointly signed by NCP’s central chief organizer (southern region) Hasnat Abdullah and member secretary Akhtar Hossain, has been approved for the next 6 months. At the same time, instructions have been given to send the full committee to the center within the next 15 days.
The other members of this committee, approved on the night of May 24, are: Senior Joint Convener S.M. Saifuzzaman, Joint Convener Md. Yasin Arafat, Senior Joint Member Secretary Md. Shahjahan Khan Saju, Joint Member Secretary Md. Rafiqul Islam Pikul, Lucky Hussain, Organizing Secretary S.M. Irfanul Bari Ujjwal, Co-Organizing Secretary Kazi Yajur Rahman Babu, July Uprising and Liberation War Affairs Secretary Bir Muktijoddha Khan Jahan Khan and Md. Shafiqul Islam.
Senior Joint Member Secretary Shahjahan Saju said that as per the instructions of the center, he will work relentlessly to organize and take the party forward. He also said that as per the central instructions, a full committee has been ordered to be submitted to the office within the next 15 days. In addition to increasing the scope of NCP’s organizational activities in Narail district, active, talented, drug-free and honest people will be evaluated to bring more dynamism to the activities.
