Police have arrested four drug dealers along with 43 pieces of Yaba in a raid in Bhaluka, Mymensingh.
The raid was conducted in the Jamirdia area of the upazila on Friday (August 15, 2025) evening.
The arrested are – Md. Sajib Mia (26), son of Md. Abul Hossain, Md. Ali Hossain alias Nazmul (25), son of Md. Nabil Hossain Nabi, Md. Rafiqul Islam (27), son of Md. Mofiz Uddin, of Sreepur, Gazipur, and Md. Naeem Khan (25), son of Md. Rafiqul Islam, of Dumbarichala area.
Police said that 43 pieces of Yaba tablets were seized from them during the arrest. The estimated market value of which is about 12,900 taka. A case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act at Bhaluka Model Police Station in this incident. They were sent to the learned court on Saturday (August 16, 2025) afternoon.
Humayun Kabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhaluka Model Police Station, said that four drug dealers were arrested in the Jamirdia area during the operation. He added, “Our campaign against drugs will continue.”
