Shubo Maharat of the film ‘Kalo Kati’ based on a true story was held in Naogaon. On Friday (January 16) at 8 pm, the Mahrat ceremony was completed in a festive atmosphere in the presence of local film lovers and cultural workers.
The film is directed by Sohrab Hossain Ullas. Arfin Jilani, Nidra De Neha are playing the lead roles in the film. Makfurul Hossain Vidyut, Md Saklayen, journalist Mehdi Hasan Antar and Jagadish and many others also acted. The makers said, as the story is based on an important real-life incident, it will be a different and thought-provoking film for the audience.
Speakers present at the Mahrat ceremony said that such film production in district towns like Naogaon will play an important role in the development of local art and culture. They hope that the film ‘Black Cat’ will get a huge response from the audience after its release.
The film is jointly organized by the Restaurant and Community Centre, and the Naogaon Film Society. The organizers said that their cooperation will continue in the future to produce films with local talent and realistic stories.
