Kolkata (West Bengal) Correspondent:
At the junction of Mahishbathan in Kolkata Salt Lake, organized by Srijan Art Academy and initiated by Subrata Ghosh, on March 15th, from exactly 9 am, the walls of the area were decorated with the colorful colors of spring and beautiful paintings by artists in anticipation of the spring festival. This wall painting workshop was auspiciously started with the play of Abir.
This wall painting workshop was attended by renowned artists, many of whom were honored, special guests included painters Malay Das, Shyama Das, famous model Sharmistha Roy
Those who painted this wall included entrepreneurs Subrata Ghosh, Atanu Hazra, Sristhilekha Ghosh, Sudip Biswas, Prosenjit Nath, Souvik Das, Shantanu Vaidya, Swapna Gayen, Shuvrodeep De, Ahuti Bibi,
Also among the juniors were Sagnik Maiti, Nairiti Anand, Upasana Das, Srideep Ghosh, Ayan Mandal, Avro Anand, Tanushree Ghosh. Deepti Ghosh and other painters. Fully cooperated, tried to be by their side to encourage, Ghosh family father Priyatosh Ghosh and mother Jaba Ghosh –
Through this wall, the artists have tried to showcase their creative and artistic passion, search for artistic talent and tasteful ideas to the society.
Which will also inspire new talent, increase the beautification of the area, if the people of the society and the area spread this idea to every area, then the areas will take on a beautiful appearance. The walls will be painted in the colorful colors of the rainbow, the thoughts of the artists will be painted, if the walls of all the clubs, school walls, college walls and even the walls of the houses on the side of the road can be painted in this way, then a beautiful environment will be created. The artists will also be interested in filling them with beautiful pictures in this way.
Subrata Ghosh, the founder of Srijan Academy, had such an idea in mind from the beginning, where the walls of the area become beautiful with the brushstrokes of all the artists, appearing in the rainbow in seven colors, so through a workshop, he painted the walls with colorful colors and pictures through the spring festival with all the junior and senior artists, before that he had painted other walls in this way.
Not only did he do the spring festival through the wall workshop, along with it, he also presented a cultural program and a certificate to those who participated in the program, he said that I am proud, and grateful to everyone, all the artists have extended their hands of cooperation and come forward by responding to my call, not only that, but I feel even more proud, the way the parents of the small students got involved with the artists with the brushstrokes. This is a new debt to me.
I will say one more thing, make the areas beautiful like this, keep the environment beautiful, encourage small artists like this, then maybe the artists will be able to go a long way, they will be able to create beautiful paintings through workshops. Artists will find a way to survive through art., Instead of just giving importance to painting exhibitions, give importance to decorating the walls of the area like this.
Today, with everyone’s cooperation, I tried to bring some beauty to the area. The locals and artists have appreciated this initiative of Subrata Ghosh.
