It is known that journalist Reza has been publishing news related to various irregularities, corruption and crimes in Comilla district for a long time. Recently, after publishing these reports, it has been alleged that a group threatened him on his mobile phone.
Journalist Reza said that on the night of March 18, an unknown person called him and threatened him. He has drawn the attention of the administration in this regard.
He said, “It is unfortunate to receive such threats while performing professional duties. I have brought the matter to the attention of the administration.”
Local journalists have strongly condemned and protested the incident. They said that it is important to ensure the safety of journalists. It is necessary to quickly identify the threat makers and bring them to justice.
