The construction work of Matia Colony Baitul Aman Jame Mosque has been inaugurated in the Matia Colony area of Haji Bari, Matia Colony, Kaliakair Upazila. Today, Friday, February 27, at 11 am, the mosque work was inaugurated with the participation of local Muslims of the Matia Colony Baitul Aman Jame Mosque area.

Honorable Member of Parliament of Gazipur 1 constituency Mujibur Rahman was present as the chief guest.
The event was hosted by Kaliakair Municipality Ward 7 Vice President Md. Faruk Hossain, Ward 7 Youth Dal Municipality Kaliakair, as special guests, BNP Sabek Senior Joint General Secretary, Kaliakair Municipality Former Councilor Panel Mayor Mr. Md. Shamsul Alam Sarkar,

Present on behalf of Kaliakair Ward 7 Chhatra Dal were Imran, Tofail, Mehedi Hasan, Md. Faisal Hossain, Raju Ahmed, Sihab, Ibn Saud, Md. Selim Mia, Ayub Ali, Sala Uddin, with the overall support of Shimu Mosque, and all the leaders and activists of various professional organizations were present. Later, local devotees offered Maghrib prayers at the place allotted for the mosque.
