On the occasion of the victory of the rice sheaf in the Gazipur-5 (Kalinja, Pubail Bariya) constituency in the recently concluded 13th National Parliament election, along with praying for the eternal peace of the souls of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, the late Begum Khaleda Zia and their youngest son Arafat Rahman Koko, and wishing the good health and longevity of the newly elected future Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman and newly elected Member of Parliament AKM Fazlul Haque Milan, Milad and prayers were offered after the Jumma prayers.
On Friday (February 13th), as per the party instructions and the instructions of AKM Fazlul Haque Milan, instructions were given for special prayers in mosques after Friday prayers on the day after the election, instead of rejoicing in the joy of victory through any victory procession or fireworks. In view of this, a Milad and Doa Mahfil have been organized after the Friday prayers at the Tek Para (BNP Tek) Jame Mosque in Ward No. 8 of Moktarpur Union.
After the Milad and Doa Mahfil, sweets were distributed among all the Muslims under the leadership of Upazila BNP leader Sirajul Islam Jamir member and General Secretary of Gazipur District Journalist Oikya Parishad Rafiqul Islam Rafiq. Former Chhatra Dal leader Mahmudul Haque Shamim and Jubo Dal leader Qayyum, along with social Muslims and various leaders, were present at the time.
