On the initiative of the Municipal Employees’ Association in Chapainawabganj Municipality, a rally and leaflet distribution were held on the main roads of the municipality on Tuesday, September 2 at 10 am from the municipal square to implement mosquito control and cleanliness activities.
This great program of Chapainawabganj Municipality was inaugurated by Municipal Executive Officer Mamun-or-Rashid. In the rally, the Municipal Employees’ Association handed over leaflets to all the people around with the slogan “Let’s clean our borders, build a dengue-free and clean city”. After the rally, the Municipal Employees’ Association of Chapainawabganj Municipality organized a discussion meeting in the hall of the municipality.
The discussion meeting was presided over by Md. Enamul Haque, President of the Municipal Employees’ Association of Chapainawabganj Municipality. The chief guest of the discussion meeting was Md. Taufiqur Islam, Executive Engineer of Chapainawabganj Municipality. The chief guest said that the month-long cleaning and waste removal work of the Chapainawabganj Municipality Municipal Employees’ Association has started a dengue eradication program (cross program).
It is the responsibility of all of us to keep the municipality beautiful and maintain a healthy environment. He sought cooperation from the residents of Chapainawabganj Municipality.
