Mysterious death of a housewife at a shelter in Salta

A housewife named Antara Begum (25) died mysteriously at the Natkhola shelter center in Saltha upazila of Faridpur.

On Saturday (September 6), around 8 am, doctors on duty declared her dead after taking her to the nearby Boalmari Upazila Health Center.

It is learned that Antara Akhter and her husband Miru Sheikh live in a government house at the Vita shelter center in Natkhola Nile, Sonapur Union, with their two children. A person, who requested anonymity, said that the husband and wife had a fight on Friday night.

In the morning, Antar Akhter’s husband took her to the hospital after telling her about her illness. After taking her there, doctors declared her dead.

Police said that no injury marks were found on the deceased’s body.

When they went to the ground and asked the residents of the shelter center and the surrounding area about this, no one opened their mouths. No one knew how she died.

Saltha Than Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Ataur Rahman said that police were sent to the counting center after receiving information about the death of a housewife at the shelter home. Antar’s husband Miru Sheikh has been brought into police custody to find out the cause of death.
