A teenage motorcyclist named Jasim Molya (15) was killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a trolley in Narail. The accident occurred in front of the BRAC office on the Narail-Magura road in Sadar upazila on Sunday (September 7) afternoon.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Narail Sadar Police Station Sajedul Islam confirmed the matter. Jasim Molya is the son of Zafar Molya of Folia village in Hobkhali union of the upazila. He was a student of a local madrasa.
According to the relatives of the deceased, on Sunday afternoon, the teenager named Jasim Molya was coming towards Narail town on a motorcycle from his home in Folia village in Hobkhali union. As he reached in front of the BRAC office on the Narail-Magura road, Jasim’s motorcycle collided head-on with a trolley coming from the opposite direction. Jasim was seriously injured.
Later, local people rescued him in a seriously injured condition and took him to Narail District Hospital. As his physical condition deteriorated during treatment there, the doctor on duty advised him to be taken elsewhere for better treatment. Later, he died around 8:30 pm on the way to Khulna for better treatment.
Narail Sadar Police Station OC Sajedul Islam said, the accident happened in the afternoon. Later, the boy died on the way to Khulna. Appropriate legal action will be taken in this incident.
