Satkhira Police Superintendent Mohammad Monirul Islam said that there will be no drug dealers, terrorists, extortionists, smugglers and land grabbers in the district. Declaring war against them if they create any chaos in the district, the Police Superintendent said that no one will be spared, no matter who they are, terrorists or drug dealers.
The Police Superintendent said that today, recognizing the contribution of the student community who have sacrificed their lives for the country, he called for taking the country to a beautiful place and said that the police are always active to prevent those who are creating chaos and illegally occupying land in Khalisakhali, Debhata. Stating that the process of establishing a police camp is underway to maintain peace and order in this area, the Police Superintendent said that a decision will be made soon and a police camp will be established. The Police Superintendent announced a reward for the arrest of the terrorists.
Superintendent of Police Mohammad Monirul Islam said the above while delivering the chief guest speech at the Beat Policing rally in front of Sakhipur Union Parishad of the upazila at 4:30 pm on Monday, August 11. The rally, chaired by Debhata Police Station Officer-in-Charge Golam Kibria, was attended by Satkhira Additional Superintendent of Police Mukit Hasan Khan, Apprentice ASP Anarul Kabir, Apprentice ASP Shafiqul Islam and Debhata Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Hafizur Rahman as special guests.
Debhata Police Station ASI Riazul Islam moderated the rally, among others, Debhata Upazila BNP former convener and district BNP member Sheikh Sirajul Islam, Debhata Upazila BNP former member secretary and district BNP member Mohiuddin Siddiqui, District Jamaat Assistant Secretary Alhaj Mahbubul Alam, Upazila Jamaat Ameer Mao: Oliul Islam, Dhaka Ahsania Mission Narcotics Sector Director Iqbal Masud, Parulia UP Chairman Golam Faruk Babu, student representative Imran Bashar and others were present and spoke. The speakers at the rally expressed various opinions on preventing drugs, terrorism, extortion, smuggling and land grabbers.
They also called for socially boycotting those who are involved in such criminal activities and bringing them under the law. Public representatives, journalists, ordinary people of the area and landowners of landless villages of Khalishakhali were present at the rally.
