RAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Atiyar Rahman has instructed the new students of the 2024-2025 academic year of Rangamati University of Science and Technology (RUST) to stay away from traditional politics.
He gave this instruction in his speech as the chief guest at the orientation of the 2024-2025 academic year in the conference room-2 of the university’s Academic Building-1 today, August 11 (Monday).
During his speech as the chief guest, he introduced the students as the main stakeholders of the university and gave an encouraging and inspiring speech in shaping the life of the university. He called on them to stay away from traditional politics and encouraged the students to study by following all the criteria to get the Dean’s Award.
At the orientation, the university’s Registrar (Acting) Dr. The event was presided over by Mohammad Junaid Kabir and was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Dr. Muhammad Rahim Uddin and Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology Dr. Muhammad Jamshed Alam Patwary as special guests.
Students, teachers, officers and employees of all departments of the university were present at the event.
