Under the Climate Smart Agriculture and Water Management Project in Bhaturia Union of Haripur Upazila of Thakurgaon district, in Tengria, the tray-planting program was inaugurated for the implementation of Boro rice exhibition through Rice Transplanter machine.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Syed Shahinur Islam was present as the chief guest, Agricultural Extension Officer Tauhid-e-Khuda, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer of the concerned block Tauhidul Islam Tauhid were present as special guests, and beneficiary farmers and farmers and local dignitaries.
In this regard, the chief guest said that planting seedlings placed in trays through Rice Transplanter does not require labor, and its popularity is increasing day by day as it can be planted in machines at low cost and very quickly.
At this time, progressive farmer and entrepreneur Md. Shawkat Ali Pradhan said that every year we are planting rice using machines by preparing seedlings in trays and are making more profit at less cost.
