“Science Fair, Science Olympiad and Pitha Utsav” was held at Circuit House ground on January 18 (Sunday) organized by Jaipurhat Sadar Thana High School. Teachers and students actively participated in this day-long event.
The festival started in the morning and students displayed various scientific models. At the same time there were various types of traditional pitha ceremonies in the pitha stalls. The festival became lively with the participation of teachers and students.
Md. Saiful Islam, Principal (Acting) of Jaipurhat Sadar Thana High School was in overall supervision of the program. He said that this kind of festival will encourage the students to develop their talent and preserve the heritage.
Local dignitaries, parents and visitors were present on the occasion and praised the students for their initiative.
