The police of Tanor Police Station, Rajshahi, have arrested several accused, including those sentenced to 1 year in prison, in a separate operation.
On 03 May 2026, Tanor Police Station SI Md. Masud Ali and SI Shri Utpal Kumar Sarkar, along with their forces, conducted an operation and arrested Md. Anarul Islam (42), father- Md. Eslam, resident- Shukdevpur, Post Office- Saranjai, Thana- Tanor, District- Rajshahi, who was sentenced to 1 (one) year in prison and was on an arrest warrant.
In addition, the accused named in the general arrest warrant, Shri Binoy Chandra Haldar (father – Shri Narayan Chandra Haldar, village – Masinda), Md. Harun (father – deceased Sabed, village – Amsho), Md. Dhulu (father – Mofiz Mollah, village – Amsho) and Md. Mahabur (father – deceased Montaj, village – Amsho), Thana – Tanor, District – Rajshahi – were also arrested in the same operation.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tanor Police Station SM Masud Parvez confirmed the matter. It is learnt that the arrested accused were later handed over to the learned court.
