Police have arrested three thieves in connection with a motorcycle theft incident in Brahmanpara, Comilla. The stolen motorcycle has also been recovered from the scene.
Police sources said that on the night of September 4, 2025, a group of thieves entered the residence of Abdul Malek Mia of Sayed Ali Bepari Bari, North Manoharpur, upazila and stole a motorcycle and a mobile phone.
When the victim’s family filed a case in this incident, a special operation was conducted under the leadership of SI Jahangir Alam and ASI Ratan Kumar Mallick of Brahmanpara Police Station. With the help of local people, the police arrested the three thieves from Kangshnagar area.
The arrested are – Mohammad Dipu, Sabbir Hossain, Rakib Mia. The stolen motorcycle was recovered from them during the operation. However, nothing is known about the recovery of the mobile phone yet.
Police said that legal action is underway against the arrested accused. At the same time, regular patrols and surveillance have been strengthened in the area to prevent theft and robbery.
