Two arrested with fake notes worth Tk 4 lakh in Ashulia

On Wednesday (August 27) at around 8 pm, they were arrested from the rented house of Mizanur Rahman in the Ambagan area of ​​Ashulia. At that time, 400 fake notes worth 1,000 taka were recovered from them.

The arrested are Sanjida Akhter (26), daughter of the deceased Abdul Jalil of the Niribili area of ​​Ashulia, and Saddam Hossain (28), son of Zafar Khan of the Dendabor area of ​​Ashulia. Police said that Sanjida used to live in a rented house in the house of Mizanur Rahman in the Ambagan area.

Police said that on Wednesday night, while on duty, they came to know based on secret information that some fake money dealers were staying in a rented house in the Ambagan area of ​​Ashulia with a large amount of fake money notes. Later, based on such information, a raid was conducted at the house of Mizanur Rahman in that area at around 8 pm and fake notes worth 4 lakh taka were recovered from the house of the tenant Sanjida. At that time, two people, including Sanjida, the tenant of the house, were arrested.

Ashulia Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Jasim Uddin said that two people were arrested with fake notes worth Tk 4 lakh and brought to the police station at night. Further legal action is under process.
