Saltha Upazila Agriculture Officer Sudarshan Sikder led a field inspection of all the harmful pesticides in the paddy fields. Saltha Upazila Conservation Officer Munni Kar assisted by Md. Rafiqul Islam, Upazila Assistant Officer, among others, inspected the paddy fields of Fukra village of Sonapur Union of the upazila with the assistance of Monnika.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Sudarshan Sikder addressed the farmers and said that he spoke important words about which insects harm the paddy fields and which insects benefit the paddy. Sonapur Union Agriculture Officer Munni Akhter said that we came to the field level and found harmful pesticides in many fields. He gave an important speech about how the farmers will benefit and stay safe.
At this time, various agricultural officers of the upazila were present with them, especially saying that when farmers apply pesticides in paddy fields, they must wear masks on their faces and fans in their hands. At this time, the upazila agricultural officer visited various fields and explained to the farmers nicely. With the help of Munni Akhter, all the officers inspected each paddy field and said that this will be our ongoing work, which will benefit the farmers. We will advise all the farmers in this regard and stand by the farmers.
Finally, the upazila agricultural officer, including the agricultural officer of Sonapur Union, took the farmers to the field, held them by the hand, showed them and taught them. The farmers thanked the agricultural officer Munni Akhter for all these good works and the farmers said, if you give us the right advice like this, we will be very profitable.
