A worker named Qari Md. Mosharraf Mia (24) tragically died of electrocution in Madhabpur municipality of Habiganj.
According to police sources, on Wednesday (August 27) at around 6 am, he inadvertently came into contact with an electric wire while packing goods in the van of a bakery owned by his uncle. He was electrocuted and died on the spot.
Mosharraf Mia is the son of Hormuz Ali of Purba Madhabpur village in Madhabpur upazila. He was working as a manager in the bakery.
Confirming the truth of the incident, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Madhabpur Police Station Md. Kabir Hossain said that the body has been recovered and necessary legal action has been taken.
Locals said that Mosharraf was a hardworking and responsible worker. His untimely death has cast a shadow of grief over the area.
