8,000 fuel oil (diesel) seized at Bholahat Police Station in Chapainawabganj was unloaded at Bholahat Filling Station on Monday (11 May 2026) at 10 am in the presence of the Court-appointed Executive Magistrate.
Bholahat Upazila Assistant Commissioner and Additional Upazila Executive Officer Md. Sanaul Morshed unloaded the smuggled truck (lorry) oil at the filling station on the orders of the Senior Chief Judicial Court, Chapainawabganj and the government.
At that time, 8,236 liters of fuel oil (diesel) were unloaded from the truck (lorry) in the presence of the Chapainawabganj District Chief Judicial Magistrate and others. It is known that 8,000 liters are mentioned in the case details.
Present at the time were IO SI Md. Kamal Hossain, Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Md. Sultan Ali, Social Service Officer Md. Nasim Uddin, Acting President of Bholahat Press Club Md. Shariful Islam (Sharif), Former President Md. Golam Kabir, General Secretary Md. Shah Kabir, Journalist Md. Ali Haider Ruman, Upazila Administration officials and employees, Filling Station Cellar Md. Rajab Ali and Filling Station officials and the general public.
It is worth mentioning that on the night of April 28, 2026, at a brick kiln called Hero, between Folimari and Sonajol in the upazila, SI Md. Kamal Hossain, SI Md. Shahinul Islam and SI Md. Shakhawat Hossain of Bholahat Police Station, seized an 8,000 liter diesel truck (lorry), 6 lorries and 1 van along with drums and jerry cans based on secret information.
