A view-sharing meeting was held on the ongoing activities of the Bangladesh Market-Oriented Agricultural Management Development (Bangla-SHAPE) project in Birganj, Dinajpur to increase the capacity of small-scale horticultural farmers. The meeting was organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension at Habluhat Government Primary School ground in Nijpara Union of the upazila at 11 am on Wednesday (September 3).

The main discussant at the meeting was Dr. Munira Begum, Additional Secretary of the Poverty Analysis and Monitoring Division of the General Economics Department. Other speakers included Fatema Begum, Joint Secretary (Japan-2 Branch) of the Economic Relations Division, Shaheen Akhtar, Joint Secretary of the Planning-1 Branch of the Ministry of Agriculture, Md. Abdus Sattar, Director of the Planning, Project Implementation and ICT Wing of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Md. Humayun Kabir, Director of the Bangla-SHAPE Project, Md. Riaz Uddin, DD Director Afzal Hossain and Upazila Agriculture Officer Shariful Islam.
Members of the local farmer group were present at the program and expressed their opinions on the progress of project implementation.
