On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the month-long Quran education training under the Al Khalil Quran Education Board at Banglabazar Rahmania Women’s Title Madrasa in Fatepur Union of Gowainghat Upazila of Sylhet was concluded in a melodious, elegant and religious atmosphere. This event was a bright reflection of women’s religious education, decency and ideal formation.
The event held at the Madrasa’s student auditorium on Tuesday (March 17) at 12 noon was presided over by the director of the training center, Hafiz Maulana Ruhul Amin, and the head of the center, Maulana Akhlaq Hussain, moderated the program. The event, which began with the sweet sound of Quran recitation, gradually took shape into a heart-warming and inspiring event.
Education enthusiast, information and technology expert, and NCP nominated MP candidate Engineer Rashel ul Alam were present as the chief guest. Hafiz Maulana Bilal Ahmed Chowdhury, the pioneer of the July Movement and former central president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Majlis, was present as a special guest.
In his speech as the chief guest, Rashel ul Alam said, “The role of women in building an ideal society is immense. An educated, religious mother can guide an entire generation on the right path. Therefore, the advancement of women in acquiring Quranic education is the most important demand of the time. I hope that the students of this madrasa will play a leading role in building an enlightened family and society of the future.”
In his speech as the special guest, Hafiz Maulana Bilal Ahmed Chowdhury said,
“The high position of respect and dignity that Islam has given to women is realized through the education of the Quran. If a woman develops herself in the light of the Quran, her family, children and society naturally receive the right guidance. This training program is a commendable initiative to build that enlightened women’s society.”
The program was also attended by senior teachers of the madrasa, Hafiz Maulana Salim Ibn Omar, Maulana Ubaidullah, assistants of the training center, Hafiz Maulana Sajidur Rahman Shamim, assistant teachers, Hafiz Maulana Muhammad Ali and Hafiz Sayel Ahmed.
After the speech, awards were distributed among the meritorious students who participated in the Quran education training before the prayer. The award distribution was conducted by Hafiz Maulana Salim Ibn Omar. At this time, the bright glow of joy and achievement appeared on the faces of the students, which also spread a sense of satisfaction and pride among the parents present.
Finally, the program was declared over with a prayer. This arrangement was a real reflection of the firm commitment to building an ideal female generation illuminated by the light of the Quran.
