In Kendua Union of Jamalpur Sadar Upazila, Eid items have been distributed among helpless and distressed families in an exceptional arrangement initiated by the family of a BNP leader.
This humanitarian aid program was held on Tuesday (March 17) afternoon at the Sonakatha Eidgah ground. This was organized by the initiative of Jamalpur Sadar Upazila BNP General Secretary and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman candidate Ruhul Amin Milon and his well-wishers.
Jamalpur Sadar constituency MP and District BNP General Secretary Advocate Shah Md. Wares Ali Mamun was present as the chief guest at the event organized with the theme of ‘People for People’. Also present were Jamalpur Sadar Upazila BNP General Secretary and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman candidate Ruhul Amin Milon.
Local dignitaries including leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations were present at the event.
Eid items were distributed among about 150 helpless and distressed families in the area. Such initiatives are being taken in view of the upcoming Eid.
