BNP prays and holds rally in Tongi for Khaleda Zia’s recovery

A prayer mahfil and rally were held in Tongi Honda Road area of ​​Gazipur to pray for the recovery of the three-time successful Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson, Begum Khaleda Zia. Leaders and activists of BNP and allied organizations from various areas of Tongi and its surroundings participated in it.

The rally was chaired by Md. Shawkat Hossain Sarkar as the chief guest and Md. Rashedul Islam Kiran as the chairman.

The speakers said, “Dessenter Begum Khaleda Zia is not only a symbol of BNP, she is also a symbol of the country’s democracy. Her health is the life demand of millions of people.” They alleged that the government is deliberately depriving Khaleda Zia of advanced medical treatment.

They also said, “We demand from the government that the leader should be provided with advanced medical treatment immediately. At the same time, the leaders and activists must be more united in the movement to restore democracy.”

Later, a special prayer was offered to pray for the leader’s recovery and long life. It was announced from the rally that the leaders and activists would always be on the field to further accelerate the democratic movement under the leadership of Khaleda Zia.

The rally was supervised by Md. Shahabuddin, Md. Nuru Mia, Md. Naju Molla, Md. Nazrul Islam, Md. Raju and Md. Mamun.
