A sensational incident has been sparked by the inhuman cruelty of a mother and stepfather in Kishoreganj Upazila of Nilphamari. It has been alleged that mother Nasrin Begum herself helped her stepfather Rashidul rape her daughter.
According to local sources, Nasrin Begum got married for the fourth time to a man named Rashidul. However, at the time of marriage, there was a condition that he would help his daughter in immoral activities. According to that condition, terrible torture began on the girl.
Even as a result of multiple rapes, the teenage girl became pregnant. But so that the incident would not be revealed, mother Nasrin herself gave her medicine and forced her to have an abortion. Even though the teenage girl fell ill, the same torture started again after a few days after she recovered.
The villagers claim that such terrible acts had been going on for a long time. Although the victim girl was mentally broken, she could not tell anyone for fear of her family. When the matter finally came to light, there was intense anger in the area.
Following the incident, locals have demanded exemplary punishment for the accused mother Nasreen and stepfather Rashidul.
The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kishoreganj Police Station said that the matter will be investigated and legal action will be taken.
