Farmers in Bholahat are in a state of panic due to fuel oil crisis! The only Bholahat filling station is not having enough fuel, so the target for the paddy and mango season is about to be missed! Rice and mango farmers have appealed to the higher authorities to pay attention!!
It is the current paddy season in Bholahat. Fuel oil is needed to maintain the cash crop or fruit mango. To keep the target of these two crops correct, the cultivation maintenance is remarkable. If the cultivation of paddy and mango is disrupted due to lack of sufficient fuel oil, the farmers will not get the expected yield.
Fuel oil is needed to maintain and maintain the target of the cultivation of paddy and mango. To collect this fuel oil, lakhs of farmers look towards the “Bholahat Filling Station” like a chatak bird. Farmers here are suffering from various problems due to not getting oil as per their demand. If this situation continues and if the “Bholahat Filling Station” does not supply enough oil, it has been observed that the farmers will be in extreme trouble.
In this regard, Md. Abdul Latif, the proprietor of “Bholahat Filling Station”, said, “Currently, we are getting 26/27 thousand liters of oil per week. The farmers of the upazila need 50/56 thousand liters per week as per their demand. There is a huge demand for fuel oil during the rice season and for the maintenance of mango trees.
Therefore, the mentioned oil that comes every week is not sufficient for the huge demand of fuel oil by rice farmers and especially mango farmers. He mentioned in his speech that if 40 to 50 thousand liters of oil are supplied per week, we will be able to meet the needs of rice and mango farmers.”
