The Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman, will arrive in Jessore on April 27. The whole day is packed with programs and activities. He will formally inaugurate the Ulshi Zia Canal program. Then, he will inaugurate the construction work of the proposed 500-bed hospital on the premises of Jessore Medical College. After that, he will visit Jessore Institute and Public Library. In the afternoon, he will address a public meeting at Eidgah Maidan as the chief guest.
Jessore and the entire southern region are in full swing on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s arrival. Leaders and workers in Jessore city, thana upazila city, suburbs, villages, neighborhoods are eagerly waiting for him. It seems that their demands are not being met. This is the first state visit of Prime Minister Tarique Zia. He held a public meeting with promises before the national elections.

She will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:30 am. After that, she will leave for Jessore Matiur Rahman Airport.
She will arrive at Jessore Airport at 10:15 am. Later, he will travel towards the Ulshi Canal re-excavation venue in Sharsha Upazila. He will arrive at the Ulshi Canal re-excavation venue at 11:30 am. He will formally inaugurate the excavation work of Zia Canal there.
He will join the Sudhi rally organized at the Ulshi Canal re-excavation venue at 11:45 am. He will travel from Ulshi to the proposed site for Jessore Medical College Hospital at 12:15 pm.
He will arrive at the proposed site at 1:15 pm and inaugurate the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of Jessore Medical College Hospital. He will visit the Jessore Institute Public Library at 1:35 pm. He will arrive at Jessore Circuit House at 1:50 pm.
He will join the public meeting at Jessore Central Eidgah Maidan at 3:30 pm. He will arrive at Jessore Circuit House again at 5:30 pm. After the break, he will leave for Jessore Airport at 7:30 pm. He will arrive at Jessore Airport at 8 pm and leave Jessore for Dhaka. He will arrive in Dhaka at 8:45 pm.
