The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the consumer level has been reduced again. The new price of a 12-kg cylinder has been set at Tk 1,270, which is Tk 3 less than the previous price.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new price in a notification on Tuesday (September 2). The new price will be effective from this evening and will remain in effect until further notice.
In addition, the price of autogas has also been adjusted. At the new price, the cost of per liter of autogas will be Tk 58.15, which is 13 paisa less than the previous price.
It is worth noting that earlier on August 3, the price of a 12-kg cylinder was adjusted by Tk 91 to Tk 1,273.
