Building a sanctuary, filling the country with local fish, the National Fisheries Week 2025 was inaugurated in Gomostapur, Chapainawabganj from August 18-24 with the slogan “Like the whole country, the National Fisheries Week 2025 was inaugurated.”
On the occasion of the celebration of National Fisheries Week-2025, a colorful rally, fish release, discussion meeting and award distribution were organized by the Gomostapur Upazila Administration and Fisheries Department on Monday (August 18) morning in the Upazila Conference Room.
Upazila Fisheries Officer Saju Chowdhury presided over the event, while Upazila Nirbahi Officer Zakir Munshi was present as the chief guest and delivered the speech.
