One person was arrestedwith one hundred and fifty pieces of Yaba tablets under the leadership of Narail DB OC Shahadara Khan. Narail District Detective Police DB has arrested a drug dealer named Md. Tariqul Islam (42).
The arrested Md. Tariqul Islam (42) is the son of the deceased Golam Kibria of Paschim Simakhali village under Narail Sadar Police Station. Ujjwal Roy, Narail District Correspondent said that on Sunday (August 31) night, he was arrested from the Simakhali Tematha intersection of the Kheyaghat to Highway Bypass Road in Simakhali Village No. 4 Auria Union under Sadar Police Station of Narail District.
Based on a secret information, under the supervision of District Intelligence Branch DB Officer-in-Charge Md. Shahadara Khan (PPM), SI (retd) Rajesh Das and ASI (retd) Md. Kamruzzaman along with the accompanying force conducted a drive and arrested Md. Tariqul Islam (42). At that time, one hundred and fifty pieces of Yaba tablets were seized from the accused. A case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act at Narail Sadar Police Station.
The accused has been handed over to the learned court. Under the direction of Narail District Superintendent of Police Kazi Ehsanul Kabir, the district police is working sincerely to make Narail drug-free.
