A preparatory meeting for the annual “Family Dinner 2026” was held at the Secretariat Bhaban on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) after Maghrib for the members of the only Bholahat Press Club of Chapainawabganj and the wives of other media workers and their children.
Present under the chairmanship of Kaiser Ahmed, personal assistant to the President of the Press Club and former MP Alhaj Aminul Islam Amin and correspondent of the Daily Dinkal newspaper, were the club founder and former general secretary Mainul Islam, former president and founder and researcher of Sheikhji Onbikhshan Foundation Rabiul Islam, vice president, senior journalist and member of the ACC’s organizational structure M. S. I Sharif, general secretary Shah Kabir, office secretary Selim Reza Mukta, member Monirul Islam Muni, Aminul Islam Army.
Preparatory meeting The president of the program, Kaiser Ahmed, strongly called upon all the members present to forget all the previous grievances and work unitedly to overcome the difficulties of the Bholahat Press Club, which has been a victim of various complications since its inception, to make it aware and work together with determination.
He also said that in the coming days, we will focus on the overall development of the club with all the members of the upazila, Insha-Allah. The tenure of our current committee is about one and a half years. The previous committees were immersed in the net of their own self-improvement by keeping power in their laps for a long time. They have failed to deposit in the club’s account. In this short period of time, we have deposited lakhs in bank accounts, which is our great credit.
And on this auspicious occasion, on April 25, 2026, we will organize a day-long event for all journalists and their wives and children with our families and relatives, entertainment, cultural evening, raffle draw (lottery) We will celebrate a “family banquet” to pass the time, Insha-Allah.
