The Chapainawabganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes a discussion meeting on the occasion of Ramadan

A meeting was held in Chapainawabganj to protect the sanctity of the upcoming month of Ramadan, keep the prices of essential commodities stable, ensure adequate supply in the market, and prevent food adulteration and pollution. The meeting was held at the conference room of The Chapainawabganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Sunday, February 15 at 4 pm. The meeting was presided over by the President of the Chamber, Abdul Wahed.

District Agricultural Marketing Officer Md. Mominul Haque, Proprietor of Adarsh ​​Group Md. Sadiqul Islam, Director of the Chamber Abdul Barek, Director Md. Shahidul Islam, M. Qoraishi Milu, and others were present. In addition, various businessmen of the district, representatives of electronic and print media were present.

The main speaker of the meeting called for not increasing the prices of goods unreasonably, not giving less weight, not selling rotten or stale food and ensuring the supply of adulterated products in view of the month of Ramadan. He said that it is the moral responsibility of all traders to protect the sanctity of the month of Ramadan. He specially requested them to run their business at the lowest profit without cheating the customers.

It was informed in the meeting that tomorrow, the Chapainawabganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold a joint exchange of views with the Department of Consumer Rights Protection and the Department of Safe Food. Through this, initiatives will be taken to strengthen market supervision and increase public awareness.

The traders expressed their determination to work in coordination with the administration to maintain the normal supply of daily necessities during the month of Ramadan and to control the market situation.
