Chief of Army Staff General Waqar Uz Zaman said that the Bangladesh Armed Forces are always engaged in the service of the country and the nation. Our main goal is to protect sovereignty and stand by the people in national crises.
He said this as the chief guest at the closing parade of the annual central camping-2025/26 at the training academy of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps ‘BNCC’ Directorate in Ashulia on Wednesday (January 14) afternoon.
At the same time, he also said that along with the armed forces, BNCC cadets have been playing a leading role in maintaining the security and discipline of the country and in any crisis of the country. At the same time, he highly praised the leading role of BNCC cadets at the social and national levels and congratulated all the members of this organization.
At the closing ceremony, Chief of Army Staff Waqar Uz Zaman inspected the parade and took the salute. During this, the Chief of Army Staff presented awards to BNCC members who had achieved various achievements. Later, the BNCC cadets presented a mesmerizing display at the parade ground.
The military secretary of the army, GOC of 9 Infantry Division, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, Director General of BNCC Directorate and other senior officers of the armed forces were present at the parade.
